Miss Rasmussen worked with students using pastel to complete whānau koru, a representation of each student's own family.
Tisharne worked with students to create patterns and Māori designs which were illustrated on stars, representing Matariki.
Mrs Tyler taught students how to weave in a circular design, taking into consideration the colours and patterns which would be used.
We look forward to seeing you at the Art Festival in Term 3!
Your whānau koru is really gorgeous. We love the vibrant colours. Where did you get your inspiration from? What do you think it will look like if you had used white or black to support the patterns.
