Akomahi Kainga - Rā Tu (Home Learning - Tuesday)

Ko tēnei te rā e rua tekau mā whā o ngā ra o Hereturikōkā.
24th Day of August

Kia Ora,
Hope you are all staying healthy and well in your bubble. I had a visitor today....

It was the neighbor's cat, it looks hungry!

I have received some great activities and akomahi (work) so far. If you are unable to do akomahi on a device there are lots of unplugged activities you can do on this blog - take a picture and send it through to me via seesaw or email atao@hameast.school.nz

My Special Spot!

  • Tell me about your Special Spot, where do you like to be most? Is it your bedroom, up a tree in your garden, or cooking in the kitchen? My Special Spot is sitting on my couch with a book in the sun.

Kia Ora e te Whānau - Week 5 Home Learning

Hope you have had a relaxing enjoyable weekend.

I have created some fun activities and learning for your tamariki to complete in the next couple of days (see below) and have also re-sent codes to log onto Seesaw, Mathletics, and Sunshine Classics.

https://www.mathletics.com/nz/

www.sunshineclassics.co.nz/

www.seesaw.com

For Seesaw you will need to download the Class App and then use the sign-in text code. Please ask your tamariki to take a picture of themselves in their favorite spot and add it to our ‘Special Spots Activity’.

I will be online from 9.30-11.30 and then again from 1.30-2.30 if you would like any further assistance to set your tamariki up for online learning or to answer any questions. I look forward to reconnecting and receiving some very cool pics.

Kia ora e te whaanau

 Kia ora e te whaanau,

Once again we find ourselves in this place of lockdown. I hope you and your families are staying safe and well. I have included some links to websites that may support you and will send your child's codes for mathletics and sunshine classics to you via seesaw. Our class blog is also a great place to go and explore alternative learning options.

Please remember this is not compulsory and that it is a good opportunity to spend quality time with your tamariki (children). Read with them, share family stories, recipes, or go for a walk. Mauri Ora Whaea Arna

Korikori Tinana - Health and Physical Education

Our class had lots of fun while the weather was clear to learn and practice our large ball skills.

We worked in our teams well, supported each other, and most of us had turnes to be the leader of our team.

Whaea Arna was very impressed that everyone tried their hardest and gave it a go!
